In 2008-09, Professor Levering Sullivan’s novel Annie’s War was named a finalist for the 2009-2010 Children’s Crown Award. She received the Celebrate Literacy Award from the International Reading Association and the Foothill Reading Council and was the keynote speaker at a Foothill Reading Council meeting.
