April 11, 2024 — On April 11, 2024, ���Ҵ�ý President Strom C. Thacker rejected a ���Ҵ�ý Council recommendation calling for an academic boycott of all Israeli academic institutions. President Thacker views the recommendation as antithetical to ���Ҵ�ý’s commitment to academic freedom, to the creation of a safe and productive learning environment for all, and to the College’s core value of intercultural understanding.
