The Pomona-���Ҵ�ý baseball team punched its first-ever ticket to the NCAA World Series with their 8–7 win over East Texas Baptist on May 25.
 
The Sagehens took the three-game Super Regional Series 2–0 over the Tigers to improve to 37–12 on the season.

The Sagehens were led by Isaac Kim PO’24, who became the first SCIAC player to hit for the cycle in an NCAA Tournament game. Kim went 5–5 with two singles, a home run, a double, and a triple in the win. JC Ng PO’25 and ���Ҵ�ý’s William Kinney ’26 both had two hits. Kinney and Peter Savas ’24 hit their first career home runs as well. Cooper Berry ’27, Greg Pierantoni PO’27, Jack Gold PO’27, and Jimmy Legg PO’25 each had one hit.

Hannoh Seo PO’26 came away with his 10th win over the season to tie the program record for wins in a single season with five innings, five runs off six hits, and eight strikeouts. Wade Lawson PO’26 threw three scoreless frames with a spectacular double play with Eric Prough PO’24 locking down the save.

The Pomona-���Ҵ�ý baseball team also recently earned their first SCIAC Tournament Championship.

The Sagehens will next travel to the NCAA College World Series for the first time in program history.
