The Preview ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ program is a chance for students who are first generation or from lower-income backgrounds to spend a weekend living on campus and exploring everything that ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ has to offer — completely free of charge.

Application Resources

Applications to ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ require the following items:

  1. Completed Common Application
  2. ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Writing Supplement — A maximum of 650 words on one of two prompts that offer an opportunity for your student to expand on why ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ is the right fit for them
  3. One academic recommendation from a junior- or senior-year teacher in a core subject
  4. A Common App School Report
  5. Official transcripts
  6. Mid-Year and Final Year reports showing grades from the fall and spring of a student's senior year, respectively

We offer Early Decision I and II applications for students who are ready to commit to ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½. For more information, including application deadlines, visit the first-year applicants page.

We meet 100% of demonstrated financial need, and last year students received an average of $57,516 in aid. Financial aid packages typically include grants, scholarships, work-study, and a small federal loan; they are structured to keep student debt manageable.

Through the resources of the renowned Claremont Colleges, students can choose from 2,100 classes per semester, 295 shared organizations, clubs, and affinity groups, and interact with 6,300 undergraduates on five contiguous campuses.
