Test Prep Assistance Fund Information

  • Currently enrolled ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ juniors and seniors are eligible to apply.
  • Students must have demonstrated financial need, as verified by the Office of Financial Aid.
  • Applications for reimbursement are considered for a minimum of $100 and a maximum of $1,000.
  • Applications may be partially funded.
  • Funding is limited and is not guaranteed by submission of an application.
  • Approved students must submit required receipts or invoices by the deadline provided with their award.

Awards are based on a student's specific test prep needs and are intended to cover one finalized purchase request. The $1,000 maximum is not an individual spending balance. Additional requests may only be considered if funding remains available after other eligible applicants have been reviewed.

  • Students must apply for and receive approval before purchasing test prep materials or enrolling in a preparation course.
  • Funding cannot be used for test preparation courses already in progress or expenses incurred before approval.
  • Approval confirms a student's eligibility for up to the approved amount but does not reserve funding indefinitely.
  • After approval, students will be asked to confirm their finalized test prep resources and expected purchase timing within the timeframe provided by Career Services.
  • Students who need to delay their purchase because of the timing or limited access period of a test preparation resource may contact Career Services to request an extension.
  • Approved test prep materials will be purchased directly by Career Services. Students should not make purchases on their own and expect reimbursement.
  • Approved funds that are not confirmed or used within the provided timeframe may be released so they remain available to other eligible students.

Students will be asked to provide:

  • Contact information
  • The admissions exam they plan to take
  • The specific test prep course, materials, or resources they plan to purchase
  • The total amount of funding requested
  • A brief response explaining why graduate or professional school is important to their career plans

If approved, Career Services will provide the award amount, next steps, and a timeframe for confirming the intended purchase. Approved materials will be purchased directly by Career Services.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis while funding remains available.
